What we clean, and how
Every job below includes our own products and materials. We quote each home individually after a quick look round, because no two are the same and rates vary by area and by the work involved.
Spring and deep cleans
A single longer visit that gets to the parts a regular clean does not reach. Skirtings, doors and frames, inside cupboards, behind and under what can be moved.
End of tenancy and moving home
An empty-property clean for the end of a let, or a fresh start in a place somebody else has just moved out of. Quoted after a look round.
Ironing on request
Added to a regular visit, or done as its own job. Tell us roughly how big the pile is and we will tell you how long it will take.
Products and materials included
We arrive with our own cleaning products and materials, including microfibre cloths and mops. There is nothing for you to buy or keep topped up.
Special requests
Ovens, insides of windows, a fridge that needs emptying out, a room you would rather we left alone. Ask and we will say honestly whether it is something we do.
A regular clean
What a normal visit covers
A regular clean is built around the rooms that get used. On a first visit we agree what matters most to you, and that becomes the routine.
- Kitchen surfaces, sink, hob and fronts
- Bathrooms, showers, basins and loos
- Floors vacuumed and mopped through
- Dusting and surfaces in living rooms
- Bedrooms tidied, beds changed on request
- Mirrors, glass and internal doors
- Bins emptied and re-lined
- Skirtings and frames on a rota
Being straight with you
Things we do not do
A short list, so nobody is disappointed on the day. If something here is what you need, we will happily say so and point you elsewhere.
- Outsides of upstairs windows
- Carpet or upholstery shampooing
- Clearing hoarded or unsafe rooms
- Building or post-renovation dust
- Anything needing ladders or working at height
Questions
The things people ask first
Do I need to be in while you clean?
No. Plenty of our customers are at work. Some leave a key, some use a key safe, and some are always home. Whatever suits you is fine.
Do I need to buy any cleaning products?
No. We arrive with our own cleaning products and materials, including microfibre cloths and mops. There is nothing for you to buy or keep topped up.
Will it be the same cleaner every time?
Yes, that is how we work. It means nobody has to be shown round twice and your home gets cleaned the way you like it. If your regular cleaner is away we will tell you in advance.
Is there a minimum booking?
Most homes work out at two to three hours a visit. We will tell you honestly at the quote how long yours needs, rather than selling you hours you do not need.
What if I need to cancel a single visit?
Let us know as early as you can and we will move it. Skipping the odd week is not a problem. Ending the arrangement altogether needs two weeks written notice, which is set out in our terms.
Are you insured?
Yes. Every cleaner is DBS checked and the work is fully insured. We are happy to show you the paperwork.
